Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won cast in You’re All Surrounded?

What’s going on behind the scene of SBS upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama You’re All Surrounded? Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won have been attached in this drama project for few weeks now, but neither of them have confirmed their appearances.

Early this morning, there was one press article which stated that Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won have confirmed to join YAS and the contract will be finalized & signed within this week. Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won have previously worked together (in Best Love where Seung Gi cameo-ed as little Dokko jin, and Zipel CF). So I’m excited to see their reunion.

Few hours later, Lee Seung Gi’s agency Hook Entertainment released a statement that his appearance is not yet confirmed but they’re positively considering & negotiating this drama. An official from the production company (HB Entertainment) also said the same thing with an additional info that the casting will be finalized by the end of this week.

Seunggi’s character has an IQ of 150 (he’s a genius cop) and he works in Gangnam Police Station. Cha Seung Won’s character is reportedly the team leader of Seunggi’s character.

This drama is planned to be aired at the end of April / early May, so they still have ample time to decide if they want to do this project or not. Maybe Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won are also considering other drama / project. Therefore, to push them to do this drama, someone from the upper management released the confirmation news to hopefully speed up their negotiation & discussion.

Somehow this whole casting uncertainty reminds me of King of Drama. Hence, I’m wondering what will Anthony do? Press manipulation like he did in King of Drama episode 2? 😀

Park Min Young is positively considering the female lead role. Latest news stated that she will not join this drama.

Hopefully the casting will be confirmed by Friday, so we can start counting the days. Can’t wait to watch Seung Gi & Cha Seung Won bromance. ^.^
