7 August 2013, finally today is the day =) It feels like we’ve been bombarded with constant promos of the newest batch of Korean dramas for one whole year (exaggerating here :D), but no complain here, as I really enjoyed the parade. ^^ I really hope these two dramas will be worth the hype and wait.
It’s interesting to note that PD Jin Hyuk [The Master’s Sun] and Two Week’s scriptwriter So Hyun Kyung worked together in a smashing hit weekend drama “Shining Inheritance / Brilliant Legacy” and then rom-com drama “Prosecutor Princess”. They went separate path as PD Jin Hyuk then directed City Hunter and now, The Master’s Sun. Scripwriter So Hyun Kyung then moved on to write 49Days, National Drama My Daughter Seo Young and now Two Weeks. Both TMS & TW are in great hands. =)

Two Weeks (Revenge Thriller Melodrama)
Casts: Lee Jun Ki, Kim So Yeon, Park Ha Sun, Ryu Soo Yong, Jo Min Ki, Song Jae Rim
Jang Tae San (Lee Jun Ki) is falsely accused of a murder. As he’s trying to escape from the expert professional killer (Song Jae Rim), he learns that he and his first love Seo In Hye (Park Ha Sun) has a cute little daughter. Unfortunately, she suffers from leukemia. Tae San only has two weeks to save his dying daughter. Not sure why the killer is chasing him though, some believes that he’s the real culprit aka the real murderer. Seo In Hye is Tae San’s first love who is unable to forget him although he abandoned him. She raised their daughter with love; and after 8 years, they coincidentally meet again. Together, they’re running against time to save their daughter. But will they be able to avoid the detectives who are trying to put him behind the bars and the assassin who wants to kill him?
Based on the relationship chart, it looks like Tae Sang will not engage in any love relationship with anyone. It’s good though, as he’s got his plate full already; he won’t have any time to develop any romantic relationship.
Park Jae Kyung (Kim So Yeon) is a smart and a prosecutor who has a sense of justice. She’s the prosecutor who’s in charge of Tae Sun’s murder case. As someone who can’t stand injustice, she’s trying to clear Tae San’s name after she uncovers the truth that Tae Sang is innocent. Detective Im Sang Goo (Ryu Soo Yong) on the other hand, only has one objection: to capture Tae San, prove that he’s guilty and put him behind the bars. He only has one other motive, to protect In Hye, the woman he really loves.
